After the debacle of the Manic Street Preachers, I needed the musical equivalent of sorbet. Something clean and fresh sounding that would make me forget what I was just listening to.
This was exactly what I was looking for. Bright, optimistic sounding, indie rock. A little in the vein of Beirut or Bombay Bicycle Club. It floats along making you feel good while never requiring your full attention. I don't know if I will buy it (I'm streaming Rdio again), but I'm definitely leaving it in my queue.
